The Solution

Each CRU maintains multiple validated, bootable recovery images, enabling rapid, local restoration without rebuilding systems or relying on the production network.
During a 2025 IT-to-OT cyber spillover event, protected engineering workstations became unavailable. Plant personnel restored the affected workstations and HMIs in minutes, with operating systems, applications, and configurations fully recovered.
